Change search and social sharing previews

Edit search and sharing details

1. Open Page Settings and find the search and sharing section.
2. With Pro, enter a Meta title and Meta description, or leave them blank to use the page title and bio.
3. Review the search preview and publish your changes.

Choose search visibility

With Pro, use Hide profile from search engines when you want to ask search engines to leave the page out of their results. Publish the change. This setting is a request to crawlers, not access control: anyone with the public URL can still open a published page.

Allow time for other services to refresh

Search engines and social networks can keep older previews in their caches. Check the published page first, then allow the external service to fetch it again. Changing metadata does not guarantee a search ranking or immediate removal from search results.
