Create and manage short links

Create a short link

1. Select your page and open Short links.
2. Enter the full destination URL.
3. Use an automatically generated alias or choose a custom alias and fix any validation message.
4. Create the link, copy it, and test it in a new tab.

Change a destination or pause a link

Use the link’s edit control to change its destination. You can disable a link without deleting it. Review visit counts in Short links or Insights. An active custom domain can also be used for your page’s short links.

Short links are managed separately

A short link is a redirect you can share directly. It does not add a content button to your page automatically. Changes in Short links are managed in that section rather than through the page draft’s Publish action.
